Finding a therapist: MORE ADVICE, RESOURCES & LINKS >>>

If you decide I am not the right person for you, or are looking for a female psychotherapist, I can highly recommend my colleague Dr. Cecilia d'Felice. You can find out about her experience and qualifications, and get her contact details by visiting www.drceciliadfelice.com.

Alternatively, there are five main representative bodies for therapy in the UK. Each of them can help you find a therapist in your area:
• British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) [www.bacp.co.uk]
• British Confederation of Psychotherapists (BCP) [www.bcp.org.uk]
• United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) [www.psychotherapy.org.uk]
• British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies [www.babcp.com]
• British Psychological Society [www.bps.org.uk]

Your GP should also be able to help you find an NHS therapist or counsellor although this provision is inadequate in many places.
